As the light begins to appear at the end of what feels like a very long tunnel, our thoughts turn to hope of a restored normality along with an economic recovery across all sectors.
Since Conquest Consultancy was able to achieve a carbon negative status we have been looking at further initiatives we can take to further enhance our environmental standing. As such, from March 2021 we will plant a tree for each and every enquiry received.
Whilst the world’s population has been suffering from covid-19, our planet on the other hand has seen some environmental changes that are far more positive. We have witnessed the greatest fall in greenhouse gas emissions, along with far cleaner air as roads and skies fell almost silent. Demand for energy globally saw a substantial drop as manufacturing plants and factories lowered their output. As restrictions begin to ease across the globe, the negative effects to our planet will start to rise once again.
We have recently been accredited as a carbon negative business, this means that through various green initiatives we take more carbon from the environment than we produce. Whilst this is great news, we felt we could go further. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with JUST ONE Tree. As a corporate partner we will plant one tree for each and every social media management enquiry we receive.

Did you know, a mature tree:
• Can produce enough oxygen in a season for 10 people to breathe for an entire year.
• Is able to capture over 1000 gallons of rainfall per year to prevent saturation, flooding and prevent storm water carrying pollutants to our oceans.
• Using their roots, can absorb chemicals and pollutants that have entered the soil as well as hold the soil together to prevent soil erosion.
• Locks in greenhouses gases such as carbon dioxide in to their structure, slowing down global warming.
In addition, an individual tree can also be home to up to 2000 species of insects, birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, fungi & plants
