This latest release simplifies the platform in to three distinct categories; Chats, People and Discover as well as adding more features to personalise conversations.

2. A quick switch to “People” and you’ll be able to find your friends, catch up on their stories and see at a glance who’s currently active.

3. Want to engage with businesses or play instant games? Head on over to “Discover” to learn about a businesses latest deals, get some assistance from their customer support or simply book your next getaway. It’s also here where you can catch up on all the news happening right now and play instant games.

As part of this update to Messenger, you’ll now see a list of all five camera modes within the app. They include the normal mode, plus video, text, boomerang and selfie as well as a skin softening function. You will also find new stickers, powered by AR, which can dragged with a touch on the screen and be placed on top of your real world videos or photos.
